UNFPA Uganda’s mission in the humanitarian response is to ensure that women of reproductive age affected by the conflicts in South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo have access to quality reproductive and sexual health services, including essential and emergency obstetric and neonatal care, HIV prevention information and services with increased priority on women and young people, particularly young adolescent girls; ensure that systems are established to protect the women and girls affected by the conflict, and to provide care for gender based violence survivors. Here are the key results of our response from January 2017-June 2018.
