UNFPA young innovators showcased SafePal and GetIN apps during the National Civil Society Organization (CSO) Sports Gala organized by the Youth After School Initiative. The GetIN app is a digital mapping tool used by community health workers to strengthen the community follow up system with particular focus on the most at risk pregnant girls; while the SafePal app is a confidential sexual harassment reporting tool for adolescents 10-24 years. The inaugural gala that took place on the 24th August 2019 at Kyambogo University was held under the theme: “Stronger Together,” bringing together over 300 Soccer, Volleyball, and Netball lovers, as well as their fans.
