Ensuring access to quality sexual and reproductive health information and services is fundamental! Throughout 2023, UNFPA Uganda focused on implementing impactful initiatives in line with the UNFPA Strategic Plan 2022-2025. Our efforts aimed at achieving the three main goals: eliminating preventable maternal deaths, meeting the need for family planning, and combating gender-based violence (GBV) and harmful practices, including female genital mutilation, child marriage, and reducing new HIV infections. This Annual Report offers an overview of UNFPA Uganda’s advancements in 2023, showcasing our dedication to transforming lives and fostering positive change in Uganda.
