In 2024, UNFPA Uganda intensified its high-impact interventions to accelerate progress towards ending preventable maternal deaths, ending unmet need for family planning and ending GBV and harmful practices, as well as reducing new HIV/AIDS transmissions. This progress was driven by strong collaborations with the Government of Uganda, partners and donors, enabling the implementation of interventions aimed at increasing access to integrated SRHR, HIV and GBV services, as well as strengthening national health systems. This Annual Report provides an overview of UNFPA Uganda’s concerted efforts to realize its vision of a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe and every young person’s potential is fulfilled.
